A Little History

A funny thing happens when you comment on blogs. Every once in a while, someone reads your comment, clicks on your profile, and starts reading your blog. You can't count on it. You may leave dozens of comments and get no response, let alone new readers, and one day you leave a comment that intrigues or pleases one or more people, and suddenly people whose comments or blogs you've admired leave admiring comments on your blog. That has happened several times recently, and I have received many kind and encouraging words. Thank you all.

I thought it would be nice to welcome new readers with an introduction, or rather a Contradiction and a post or two to give you the general flavor.

Oh, I should also mention that this is actually not my blog, it is a family blog. I just happen to post the most often. And I strive for balance: this is not an autism blog; it is a blog about life. Neither is it an autism-free zone (obviously) because autism is a big part of our life as a family. While working hard to see that GL gets what he needs, the rest of us, Mama Bear, Brother Bear, and I, also work at having a life outside of autism. I've seen what happens to people who don't. It isn't pretty.

Water Pack Updates

Here are some updates on the adventures of Water Boy. Now Water Boy has a flying car. The whole team has light sabers, and Goldilocks is in the Water Pack now. He's a character named Squirt. Then he'll yell, "STOP CALLING ME SQUIRT!" I also decided that before Fire Boy is a bad guy, he's a good guy, and in the Water Pack. He even has a flying surfboard. You're probably asking who the team will fight until Fire Boy becomes a bad guy. Well, I've figured out a couple of other bad guys. One is Gas Boy. He has different kinds of gasses to try to destroy the Water Pack with. Another is Soap Boy, who takes Bible truths and twists them.

What and who is Water Boy?

Water Boy, as I mentioned in my last post, is my imaginary super hero. But somebody wanted to know more about Water Boy. So here you go. Water Boy was a different kind of guy from time to time. I don't remember how I started the idea for Water Boy, but I started it. At one time, he was a super hero who could shoot water from his hands. Now he is just a leader of a search and rescue team. Well, kind of. A super hero search and rescue team is more like it. Kind of like Batman or Larry-Boy. To have contact with his team, the team wears watches that have walkie-talkies to the rest of the team. I got that idea from Jonathan Park. The Creation Response Team wears communicator watches. You're probably wondering what his team is called. It's called The Water Pack. I do know this much about Water Boy, he is a Christian. Most of the details I'm still working out.

We're trying to figure out how to work some podcasting equipment we have. When we figure out how to work it, we are planning to have a podcast on this blog. We might have the adventures of Water Boy on it.

Introduction

Hi Brother Bear here. The new year is here. and it is the new blog that you are looking at. Now let us get to our...Introduction!
First about Papa Bear. Papa Bear is a very empathetic bear. He likes to build rockets. And...and... and he is a very nice bear unless someone else eats half of his lunch. Mama bear is a loving bear. And fun to be around. Goldilocks is NOT AS FUN TO BE AROUND! As for me I am an artist, and I like to play LEGOS, and I like to imagine about my imaginary Christian Super-hero Water Boy.
