Merry Christmas!
This morning GL was helping me pass out bulletins at church. Since this is the last Sunday before Christmas, there was a picture of the Virgin Mary and Infant Jesus on the cover. After handing out a few bulletins, GL held a stack of them over his head and began yelling, "Extra! Extra! Read all about it! Baby Jesus is born again!"

That's hilarious!!
Oh, magnificent!
It reminds me a little bit of the Angel of the Lord in The Best Christmas Pageant Ever, hollering "HEY! Unto you a child is born!!!"
That is magnificent! Reading this just made my day.
Wonderful! What Good News!
(although I'm sure you were embarrassed)
Oh, I'm beyond embarrassment most of the time. Plus people in our church have been very understanding. That, and they've known us long enough to figure out that, since the two boys are so different, it's unlikely that GL's behaviors are the result of bad parenting. And they've learned to see the humor in some of the things he says and does. See "Trying Not to Laugh" under READERS' FAVORITE POSTS.
