Bah! Humbug!
I hate holidays. They bring out the worst in people. GL has been screaming and pounding on the walls for hours at a stretch for two days now, yelling, "I want my Christmas presents now, now, now, now NOOOOOWW!!!"
Once in a while, he'll throw in something memorable, like, "Christmas is never coming! I waited for half an hour!"
And we can't even laugh, because that makes him worse.

Ouch.
I am sorry to hear this is happening. I suppose standard disciplinary measures would not work with GL.
May the next 25 days pass quickly.
Are things getting any better?
We open gifts on Dec.6th not the 25th. I'd never make it until the 25th, he's going around yelling "St. Nick you come now!!!! O.K.?"
It's a little better today: he's de-escalated to picking fights with his brother all day long, with only occasional screaming. Wall-pounding, repetitive door-slamming, and hitting Mom and Dad are markedly decreased. We've tried two meds for this so far, and they both made him worse.
That sounds painful. I'm so sorry! We aren't putting any presents out until a couple days before Christmas. Red simply would not be able to control himself.
Red's attention has gotten better with big dose of fish oil every day and multivitamin with a whole food component.
