I completely understand why the mother in this story made the decisions that she did. There is a part of me that is bothered by the fact that she denied her daughter such a significant religious moment for so long, but if I had to bet I’d put my money on the her having done so with more than a little prayer and God having used this event for His purposes. So…no harm, no foul, and congratulations to all parties involved. I would like to know where Dad was in this decision making process? What did he think was in his daughter’s best interests?
