The Boss and I enjoy having a 14 yo who can watch the younger two, and we plan on enjoying that privilege for the next 3 1/2 years before he heads off to college and we return to paid baby sitters, since the younger two will be too young to be left home alone. It’s been a long time coming. Since we do not have any family living near us, we rarely got a break that didn’t cost a lot of money in babysitting fees, which means we rarely got a break.
