DVD Player

The new DVD player arrived today. It won't power up. I sent a message to the seller on eBay.

OK, after being plugged in for several hours, now it does power up, but is proving to be flaky in several other ways. The door won't stay closed. It takes several tries to get it to latch, and even then, pushing any of the other control buttons sometimes causes it to pop open. The remote doesn't work at all.

I got a reply from the seller:

The fastest way to get a seller to respond on ebay is to leave negative feedback with highly negative comments. Reporting them to eBay is a good move, too. The seller will either have to accept the feedback and deal with it, or they will go on the defensive and do whatever you want in order to remove the negative feedback. Good luck with this problem!
