OK, after being plugged in for several hours, now it does power up, but is proving to be flaky in several other ways. The door won't stay closed. It takes several tries to get it to latch, and even then, pushing any of the other control buttons sometimes causes it to pop open. The remote doesn't work at all.
I got a reply from the seller: We apologize for the inconvenience that this has caused. Our Customer Service department will contact you within the next 2 business days to work towards resolving the issue at hand. Please note that with a higher volume it may take between 1 and 3 business days for an agent to respond with the resolution. If you would like to contact our Customer Service department directly for faster resolution, they can be reached at xxx-xxx-xxxx. Thank you for your patience and understanding in all matters. Best Regards
The fastest way to get a seller to respond on ebay is to leave negative feedback with highly negative comments. Reporting them to eBay is a good move, too. The seller will either have to accept the feedback and deal with it, or they will go on the defensive and do whatever you want in order to remove the negative feedback. Good luck with this problem!
