We woke up to sirens this morning--tornado warning, but it passed without incident, and GL actually went back to sleep afterwards! God bless those teen years with their sleeping in!

That was a very good link. I understand the writer's feelings, and at the same time I hope she learns the joys of raising a special needs child. As difficult as it can be, achieving Paul's level of contentment (read: joy) frees a person to genuinely enjoy another's successes without constantly comparing them to their own experiences. I hope she was just having a bad day.
Thanks for the mention! I'm noticing I'm blogging only when feeling pessimistic lately. Gonna work to change that...
