Inspiration vs. Perspiration

Not bad at all. I "got" that it was a Lego 2x3 block as soon as I saw it.
I've stumbled across that blog at different times--it is hilarious!
Yours is a very satisfactory effort, though, I should say!

This comment is 4 years after the fact, but I don't think the cake is bad at all. Of course, it could be because I made one of those for my son's 6th birthday. At least you had the brains to only make one brick. I tried to make 3 stacked together. I may never make a cake again...
