Me: What's that tapping sound?
Brother Bear: Oh, that's my sword.
Me: I think it's a distraction. Could you put it away, please?
BB: Okay. (Hangs sword on an adjacent chair.)
Me: When you go to school, I think you have to check your sword at the door.
BB: Is that a rule?
Me: It is now.
So the new rule is: You can bring weapons to school; you just can't play with them during class.
