The View from My Window

It warmed up into the teens today. GL has been screaming, hitting BB, and annoying everyone. But not any more than usual. It's been snowing lightly most of the day. Again. I'll have to post some snowbank pictures soon. Here were the views from my windows yesterday:

You have more snow than we've seen here in the K.C. area this year, though we did have 2 inches Christmas Eve, and half an inch yesterday. It warmed up today, pretty nice, so that's all melted.

But what we did have this evening was one of the most spectacular sunsets I've ever seen; in fact, so colorful that if it had been a painting I would have thought the artist overdid it. I was out shopping, and didn't have my camera of course (the first time I wished I had a camera built into my cell phone). Think of every sunset color near the horizon (blue, green, orange, peach, and multiple bands of clouds lit up pink all the way back to the eastern horizon. Words don't do it justice. It was truly a "Thank you, Lord" moment.
